Freedom To Serve

Every Finnish man has to enter military service or civil alternative service. The documentary follows three young men who get involved in the wheels of compulsory military service. Esa Juntunen is the one who goes to the army, Mika Leinonen chooses civil alternative service and Ilmari Suominen refuses to enter either and gets into struggle for his legal rights with the State of Finland in consequence of his opinion.
