BARRENCE WHITFIELD, 52, is a singer in the tradition of Little Richard. Known for his showmanship, he’s one of the most recent acquaintances of the Wentus Blues Band.

"When we finished the shooting at the Alexander theatre, I was totally exhausted. Spending a week with these great persons (I mean both crew and guests!) was something that you will never forget. Barrence came to me and said “You’re the next Michael Scorsese”. Well Barrence, I am what I am, but anyway, thanks. You almost made me cry (I was tired…and happy)."
