Heikki Kossi Directors word

"About ten years ago I made a living as a touring musician. Occasionally, few times a year I experienced a gig which blew my mind. There were moments when everything worked just right with fellow band members. We shared the same state of mind. We looked into each other’s eyes and didn’t need a single word to communicate what we’re going to do next. That moment made me float in the air for weeks. Looking back at those moments, I realize how that magical, sacred moment immerses people in a peaceful, loving state.

Sitting alone in a dark room with the Family meeting footage, I was moved to tears and laughter over and over again just by watching the musicians that have seen and done it all. They have, persistently, chosen the path of healing people with music. I admire their unbeaten joy of life and enthusiasm towards music, which makes me want to live a little bit longer. With awe I watch and listen to them, when they flow into the same state of mind I had experienced as a musician. I hope Family meeting is able to convey this feeling and moment to the silver screen."
